Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management

Description and Outcomes

The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a variety of managerial positions within the multifaceted aviation industry. The curriculum is designed to provide a solid foundation in business management with an emphasis on managerial-level decision-making and problem-solving to develop the skill sets necessary to enable an aviation workforce to function effectively while maximizing profitability. In addition to developing a thorough understanding of the business of aviation, students will also develop the leadership skills necessary to motivate others and communicate effectively.  

Program Length

The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management program consists of a minimum of 180 quarter credit hours. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a bachelor of science degree.

  3. Explore key leadership and management theories for aviation strategy formulation, implementation, evaluation, and control.

  5. Examine safety management’s influence on the industry and the global environment.
